Every skin is different. Before any treatment begins, I take the time to truly understand yours — because the right protocol, chosen for you, is where real results start.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all protocols.
Every acne skin tells a different story — and deserves a different answer.
Before I recommend a single treatment, I use professional MC10 skin imaging technology to map your skin in detail: hydration levels, sebum activity, pore congestion, inflammation, pigmentation and barrier function.
This isn't a guessing game. The data from your analysis shapes every decision I make — which treatments, in which order, at what intensity. No two plans are the same, because no two skins are the same.
Your skin analysis is the foundation of everything that follows.
Each treatment below plays a specific role in your protocol. Which ones I choose — and when — depends entirely on your skin analysis results, your skin's current condition and your personal goals. I combine these carefully, session by session.
This is often where we begin. The Hydrofacial is a multi-stage treatment that deep-cleanses congested pores, neutralises free radicals with hydrogen therapy, exfoliates dead skin cells, and infuses the skin with moisture — all in one session with no inflammation or downtime.
For acne-prone skin, it's a powerful reset: it clears the surface, reduces sebum build-up, and brings oxygen to inflamed tissue. It's also a treatment I use to assess how your skin responds before introducing anything more active.
Bioptron uses polarised, polychromatic light — a clinically researched technology that penetrates deep into the skin to calm inflammation, kill acne-causing bacteria, and accelerate the skin's own healing process.
For acne-prone skin I work primarily with the blue and red wavelengths: blue light targets Propionibacterium acnes (the bacteria responsible for inflamed breakouts), while red light reduces redness, soothes irritated tissue and supports cellular repair. Bioptron is completely non-invasive and works safely alongside other treatments — I often use it as part of the same session.
GenFactor is where my work with acne-prone skin truly goes deeper. This advanced growth factor therapy works at a cellular level — stimulating the skin's own regeneration processes, repairing the compromised barrier function that many acne skins struggle with, and significantly reducing the risk of post-inflammatory scarring.
I use GenFactor throughout the protocol — not just at the end. Growth factors actively support the skin during the healing phase between treatments, prevent new scarring from forming as existing breakouts resolve, and progressively strengthen the skin's resilience. For my clients, this is the treatment that creates lasting change — not just surface improvement.
Carboxy therapy uses controlled CO2 to trigger the skin's Bohr effect — the body responds to the CO2 by dramatically increasing local oxygen delivery and circulation. For acne-prone skin, this means reduced bacterial environment, refined pores, improved skin texture and a visible reduction in congestion.
The Ribeskin system is needle-free and deeply comfortable — a mask application with no downtime. I use it strategically within an acne protocol when the skin needs oxygenation and normalisation without any mechanical intervention. It also significantly improves skin tone and radiance between more active sessions.
Skarink is introduced once your active acne is fully under control — never before. This is a specialist scar revision protocol designed to address the structural damage that acne leaves behind: atrophic scars, ice-pick marks, rolling scars and post-inflammatory texture irregularities.
By this stage in your protocol, GenFactor will already have been working to prevent new scarring. Skarink then addresses what existed before — stimulating deep collagen remodelling and progressively improving the skin's surface over a course of treatments. The results are cumulative and continue to improve for months after the course is complete.
What you do at home between sessions accounts for a significant part of your results. I personalise your home care recommendations at your skin analysis, but these are the three pillars I build every acne protocol around.
Omega-3 fatty acids are one of the most effective tools I have for regulating inflammation — from the inside out. Zinzino BalanceOil+ restores your omega-6:3 ratio, which directly reduces systemic inflammation — the biological driver of acne. For my clients, this is non-negotiable. No topical treatment works as well when the body's internal environment is inflamed.
The Crème Bar biomembrane approach works with your skin's natural lipid structure — not against it. For acne-prone skin, this means rebuilding the compromised skin barrier without clogging pores or triggering further breakouts. These products are free from ingredients that disrupt the microbiome, and they support the results of every clinic treatment between your sessions.
CareIn dermosuplementy are targeted nutritional supplements designed to support skin health at a cellular level. For acne-prone skin, the specific formulations I recommend address sebum regulation, antioxidant protection and the skin's ability to heal cleanly — working synergistically with both the clinic treatments and your Zinzino protocol for a fully integrated approach.
Acne is not a single session fix — it is a process. Here is how I typically structure an acne protocol, though your journey will be shaped entirely by what your skin analysis reveals.
We start here, always. Your MC10 skin analysis maps exactly what is happening in your skin — congestion levels, barrier function, sebum activity, inflammation and pigmentation. This is the data that shapes your entire protocol. Nothing is guessed.
We focus on reducing active inflammation and clearing congestion without aggravating the skin. Hydrofacial and Bioptron Light Therapy are the main tools here. GenFactor begins in this phase to support healing and prevent scarring from the outset.
As breakouts reduce, I introduce Carboxy Therapy to refine pores and improve overall skin environment. GenFactor continues. Home care is reviewed and adjusted. Results become visible and consistent.
Once acne is fully under control, we address any scarring or post-inflammatory marks with Skarink. Collagen remodelling takes time — this phase is where patience delivers extraordinary results.
Results are maintained with a personalised schedule of Hydrofacials, Bioptron and GenFactor sessions, alongside your daily home care. We monitor your skin at every visit and adapt the protocol as your skin continues to evolve.
Book your skin analysis and I will build a protocol that is genuinely yours — based on what your skin actually needs, not a template.
